Scott - I’m about two or three hours from the coast, I think. And yeah the whole area is scenic, even Portland being that it’s near two big rivers.
I flew out of Portland for the first time yesterday, heading East, and flew right next to Mt. Hood. The view was unbelievable.
So yes, pretty stuff to the left and right.
