Let's do an exercise. Click the play button above. Enjoy the song. Now imagine a drunken monotone duet, consisting of one half yours truly, singing this song in a fairly packed bar having a karaoke night in Manhattan. You're just at the bar trying to have a couple drinks but these two obnoxious people are belting out the worst rendition of a Styx song you've ever heard, and apparently they don't really know the words despite the scrolling on the screen right in front of them. Finally they finish and you and the rest of the bar just sort of stare. No one claps. You move on. They don't.

I've wanted to get an HDTV for a long time now, but it turns out they're kind of spendy. Last night I finally succumbed to my inner consumer whore and picked one up. I like it. A lot. Except the only HD anything I have for it is the four or five over-the-air channels it pulls down. Which is cool because now I can watch House and the Office in HD, assuming the writer's get off their sorry butts and rob a bank.
Anyway someone should mail me direct TV and a Blu Ray player and, you know, some other carp.
